Where would you go in or around Boston on a day off?

I just recently discovered the South End. I love going to Buttery for a coffee and a snack (usually a fabulous cupcake!), and then shop at Aunt Sadie's and Hudson. I want to make sure I am taking advantage of the city, so any recommendations?
What is your favorite restaurant in the North End?

I am looking to expand my horizons on my restaurant choices. My personal favorite is Neptune's Oyster bar that has the best clam chowder and peach bellini's! Where do you all like to eat?

Best Thai Food in Boston

Best Thai Food in Boston

So you like Thai food. I have a friend who comes to Boston from south shore in Massachusetts once a month to come and visit me so she and I can have Thai food from the Chilli Duck

Chilli Duck is located at 829 Boylston St (across from the Prudential Center)

The atmosphere is a bit different then you typical Thai place. It is a bit unusually since they have the place decorated with all the holiday Can you find the pumpkin garland among the Christmas light. They also have colorful modern paintings (the ducks are my fav). However with all that atmosphere it is the food that stands out.

Everything I ever had here is great and never heard anyone complain. There is no waiting here and you will have a great meal and it is pretty cheap.

What I recommend:

Appetizers
Crazy Rolls – these are great and never seen anything like it before
Siamese Shumai- small but very addictive big crowd get more then 1 order
Vegetable Tempura- I am a big tempura fan and these veggies are great not too greasy

Main Dishes

Pad Thai- for those who love the thai classic this is one of the best I ever had
Drunken Noodle- this spicy dish is great try it with duck this place has great duck dishes (hence the name)
Rad-Na – best Rad-na sauce I ever had
Seafood delight- very light dish and their seafood always taste fresh .
Any curry dish- they have amazing curry dishes with varying heat I prefer the green curry

Best Flowers in Boston

Need some flowers to brighten your home or someone’s day!

Well if you’re in Boston I recommend two places.

1.Winston Flowers- amazing flower arrangements, they have flowers and plants that will please everyone. Bring your money though arrangements aren’t cheap! They are worth it though.
They do have 15-dollar bouquets daily which are equally beautiful. Usually roses mixed with unusually flower you don’t usually see in a regular flower shop.
Winston’s flowers are located in various places in Massachusetts. In Boston there are 2 in the Back Bay one on Bolyston between Claradon and Dartmouth St. the other is on Newbury St.

2. Louis Barry in the Prudential Center (next to the food court)

They have fresh cut flowers daily. Bouquets are anything from 6 to –30 dollars. They have single stems varying prices. They also carry some wildflower and tropical types of flowers they also give you Aquaplus with every fresh cut bouquet to prolong the life of the bouquet!
